A tradition that works for quality
Our history
The history of Młyny Stoisław is a story of a place where, for generations, grain has been transformed into flour, and experience has been passed down from hand to hand. Rooted in Stoisław, we have for years combined respect for traditional milling with a modern approach to quality and technology. Every step of our work is based on knowledge, passion, and responsibility – to deliver products you can trust today and in the future.
Our history began on August 1, 1952 — at the time when the Koszalin District Grain Plant “PZZ” was created from the combined mills of Central Pomerania. From the very beginning, we were close to farmers, raw materials, and people for whom grain was not just a product, but the foundation of daily work and responsibility.
Over the years, the company has changed with the region and country. Administrative reforms, infrastructure development, and growing market needs shaped our structure and development directions. An important milestone was the establishment of the Provincial Grain and Milling Company “PZZ” in Koszalin in 1969 – a moment that strengthened our position in the industry.
A turning point in the history of the company was the decision to build a modern production and warehouse complex in Stoisław. The project, carried out with future generations in mind, was developed in stages from 1974 to 1982. It was here that we opened the next key facilities: a grain warehouse, a flake factory, a groats factory, and wheat and rye mills. Stoisław became the heart of the company – and remains so to this day.
The 1990s and the beginning of the new millennium were a time of concentrated production, investment, and consistent modernization. By abandoning a dispersed structure, we focused on developing a single, strong center. New packaging lines, expanded production capacity, and implemented advanced technologies allowed us not only to expand our operations but, above all, to improve the quality and consistency of our products.
We place particular emphasis on modern technological solutions. Modernizing mills, flake factories, and production processes, as well as implementing international quality standards – especially after Poland’s accession to the European Union – were a natural step toward responsible and transparent development.
The year 2008 brought another important chapter – the establishment of a joint-stock company. In the following years, the company became part of a strong capital group, which opened up new investment and organizational opportunities while maintaining its identity and local roots.
Today, we are investing in automation, robotics, and modern logistics, ensuring both efficiency and process security. We develop our raw material resources, support collaboration with suppliers, and constantly expand our product portfolio, responding to changing market needs.
All these activities have one, unchanging goal: to create flour, groats and flakes of the highest quality – reliably, responsibly and with the people who trust us in mind.
